Head Roaster
At Grünhaus Kaffee Rösterei, our philosophy has always been simple: exceptional coffee requires absolute freshness. From day one, my promise to you has been to roast, package, and ship your beans within a strict 48-hour window so that every cup you pour is at its absolute peak flavor.
Because I am the sole operator, roaster, packager, and shipper behind every single bag of Grünhaus Kaffee, maintaining this standard requires my full, hands-on attention.
Why Checkout is Temporarily Paused
Starting in mid-November 2026, I will be stepping away from the roaster to undergo a planned, proactive medical procedure. Because my recovery will be focused on healing rather than lifting heavy sacks of green coffee beans, I have made the decision to temporarily pause checkout on our store.
Our Commitment to Quality
I could have left checkout open and let orders pile up, or shipped pre-roasted inventory. However, shipping stale coffee or making you wait weeks for an order completely violates the brand promise of Grünhaus Kaffee. If I cannot fire up the roaster and get your coffee out the door within 48 hours of roasting, I simply will not sell it. I believe you deserve nothing less than the freshest roast possible.
